My Story & Inspiration
I believe that birth is a sacred experience that should be remembered as one of the most monumental and wonderful moments of any woman’s life. Having raised my two daughters, I want to help other women embrace this time of life as much as I did.
My journey as a doula began with a deep desire to support women during one of life’s most transformative experiences. I received training from DONA certified doulas with many decades of experience and am passionate about contributing to the health and well-being of women and infants.
Through breathwork and other various techniques, I will help you remain present during your birth experience. I will be your caring guide through this monumental moment whether it be a home or hospital birth.
Why am I Moon Mama
The moon is seen as a symbol of motherhood, femininity and nurturing energy.
The phases of the moon (New, Waxing, Full, Waning) closely align with our menstrual cycle making the moon a symbol of female reproductive power and rhythm.
Throughout history many cultures and religions have revered
the moon and associated it with women’s bodies‘ life cycles and the power of femininity and birth.
A great sign appeared in Heaven: A woman clothed in the sun, with the moon under her feet and a crown of twelve stars on her head.
